Terms of Service
Last updated: May 26, 2026
1. About this service
My Policies (the "App") is a pure recording utility that lets you log monthly cost, renewal date, and contract notes for your own and your family's insurance policies.
2. Neutrality statement
The App does not compare, recommend, broker, or sell insurance products. There are no external links to insurance companies or agencies inside the App. The App is not a licensed insurance broker, agent, or intermediary. For advice on choosing or contracting insurance, please consult a licensed insurance company, agent, or financial planner.
3. Eligibility
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. Minors must use the App with parental consent.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the policy information, monthly costs, and renewal dates you enter. Records inside the App do not substitute for your official policy documents. For actual coverage, contract terms, and cancellation, always consult the official documents and customer service of your insurance company.
5. Nature of notifications
Renewal and premium-hike notifications are reminders based on what you enter. The operator is not liable for missed payments, lapsed coverage, or other consequences resulting from missed, delayed, or mistakenly fired notifications.
6. In-app purchases
Subscriptions are provided through the Apple App Store, billed to your Apple ID. Cancel or manage your subscription any time from your Apple ID settings. Apple Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
7. Family sharing
When you invite a family member by QR, you become the admin of the share group. Sharing is read-only — invitees can only view, never edit. The admin can revoke an invite at any time.
8. Data deletion
Your account and all data can be fully deleted within 30 days by request via the in-app settings or info@nextcode.ltd.
9. Disclaimer
The operator is not liable for any financial loss or contractual disadvantage caused by inaccurate records, missed notifications, or data loss. The App is a memo and reminder tool and is not a substitute for an official insurance contract.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
